Updated data from Sentinel Stroke National Audit programme for 2020/21.
March 2022
Correction: An error in the percentage of stroke admissions with history of atrial fibrillation not prescribed anticoagulation was identified in the December 2021 update of the CVD Profiles. An import error led to a reversal of the percentage display of the anticoagulation indicator. The impact was for all geographies where the indicator was available. The data has now been corrected and replaced on Fingertips at the 1st March 2022.

An error was identified for indicators based on hospital episode statistics (HES) data which gave misleading results for areas within the South East region and East Sussex. Affected areas have been suppressed or flagged to be treated with caution. Full details can be found in the caveats section of the descriptive metadata for each affected indicator.

Removal of the Healthier Lives profiles - On 4 December 2018 the 'Healthier Lives' resource for hypertension was removed and this web address redirected to the CVD profiles. This decision was taken to reduce the significant level of duplication that existed between Healthier Lives and existing profiles, but with less functionality available for users in the former.
