Trends in overweight and obesity prevalence are shown and patterns are examined by age, sex, ethnic group, area deprivation. The England slide set also includes charts showing the distribution of child BMI by age, sex, over time, and by deprivation group. The regional and local authority slide sets also include maps at lower tier local authority, and electoral ward showing the geographic variation in obesity prevalence in local areas.
The adult obesity data slide set presents data at England level, trends in overweight and obesity prevalence are shown and patterns are examined by age, sex, ethnic group, and socioeconomic groups. Data is also presented on waist circumference by age, sex, and trends over time.
