The NHS Health Check programme aims to help prevent heart disease, stroke, diabetes, kidney disease and certain types of dementia.
Everyone aged 40 to 74 who has not already been diagnosed with one of these conditions or has certain risk factors will receive an invitation once every five years to receive support and advice to help them reduce or manage their risk of:
- heart disease
- stroke
- kidney disease
- diabetes

NHS Health Check Q3 2023-24 data published.
Data for NHS Health Checks offered to and received by the total eligible population between October and December 2023 (Q3) was published on 5 March 2024.
NOTE: There have been small corrections made to quarterly and annual data for the South West region for years prior to 2019/20. A correction has also been made to annual uptake data for the East Midlands region for all years prior to 2019/20. This does not change the trend or significance of this data for these areas.
